AUTHENTIC & SENTIMENTAL
There's a couple of things I really love in this life. I love long drive's (unless I'm the one driving), spotting unexpected animals on those drives, a café cappuccino, sharing a laugh over a meal with family & friends, & a candid photograph.
A captured moment of a head-thrown-back in laughter or eyes welled up with tears. These are the memories I hold dear to my heart.
I want you to be able to see this same authenticity in the photographs that I take, for you to be able to treasure them all the same.
WHAT'S IN A NAME
Good Ol' Lou.
The name is a homage to my late grandfather, Louis, who loved photographing everyone and everything. For as long as I could remember he had a camera in hand, ready to capture beautiful moments & beautiful things – anything that caught his eye, which my gran, Elvina, lovingly and diligently would place in a categorized album once printed.
And so, much like the moments I capture are an ode to the people & places you love, this name is an ode to them.
